This one was spotted and sent in via
M Me.

Note this is the first one to be featured on the site. There's mention of a Wendel Sampling Computer here. Roger Nichols, the creator, passed away in 2011.

"Note that there is only one (1) unit (s.n. 140) shown in the photos and seven (7) sound boards, and that is what you get for one money.
Serial number 140 is seen in the video "EPIC!!! '80s Drums 'n' Echo: Roger Nichols WENDEL/WENDELjr Sequential Drumtraks Lexicon 224XL/LARC", it is the unit that is not rack mounted but over on the right side, sitting on top of the two stacked Lexicon 224XLs with the two LARC remotes sitting on top of it, and it is heard to play the Tom-2, Crash cymbal (Crash Cym-1), Ride cymbal (Ride Cym-1), Heart snare, and Heart kick.

If you select quantity two (2), you will get the second identical unit (s.n. 230) and a second set of the same (7) sound boards. I promise you the second one not shown is in equal or better condition. This would be very powerful and convenient setup for a producer to have, then able to do kick and snare at the same time, for example, and also for live sound drum replacement applications.
Serial number 230 is seen in the video "EPIC!!! '80s Drums 'n' Echo: Roger Nichols WENDEL/WENDELjr Sequential Drumtraks Lexicon 224XL/LARC", it is the unit that is in the bottom of the rack, and it is heard to play the two alternating clap sounds (the clap sound is not included in this listing, but always available), which again shows what the WENDELjr can do but none of these drum machines can (alternate claps, they just go clap-clap, same sound, machine-like).

Also if someone wants me to list just the sound kit for some other WENDELjr they bought from a chump and have no sounds for it, it's $799.00 for the seven sounds on seven boards."

Kawai K1 & Yamaha FB-01 Sample Pack for Prophet X and SF2

video upload by Espen Kraft

"A new patch bank for the Prophet X. Also available in the SF2 format for Logic and the Tal Sampler.
50 multi-samples from the Kawai K1 and Yamaha FB-01. Great sounds to add texture and depth to your music and productions.

The samples were originally meant for MY Prophet X, for my live needs. A way of having all my vintage synths in one keyboard when doing live gigs doing MY own songs as faithful as possible to my albums.
Every sample in here has been recorded by me personally and sounds exactly how I want them to sound. They've all been recorded through the Yamaha DMP7 digital mixer for extra mojo.
Many of the samples are velocity layered multi samples, some upwards of 30-50 samples per set.
Be aware that this pack is the multi-samples only.
IMPORTANT info for Prophet X users: This sample user add-on pack is imported like this : px/u01

If you want to purchase this bank, please send me an email and I'll give you the download details.
Please specify if you want the Prophet X or SF2 bank. They cost the same.

My CONTACT email address is this: espenkraft69@gmail.com
Price is $15 USD or €15 Euros if that's your preferred currency. PayPal only. * The above email is NOT the one to use for payment. That will be given upon ordering.

If you haven't already bought my big epic Prophet X sample- and patch bank from before, I'll be happy to offer both that AND this new one in a bundled price of $40 USD (or €40 Euros) combined. Let me know in the email."

Synclavier HOP Hand Operated Processor + D0I interface card

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

One of the pics looks very close to this listing from 2015. Similar description as well, but updated.

"Note: Perfect condition, tested today and working perfectly, no broken switches. I've checked this over 10/2/2020 and tested it with a Synclavier II mini-system, all the switches are working properly and everything has tested good. There are absolutely NO scratches or scuffs on this one. It is absolutely as new.

Absolute mint condition, see the photos, it is stunning.

This listing includes the HOP control panel box with built-in cable, interface card to plug into the computer bin of the Synclavier, and an anti-static protective bag to hold the card when not installed in a slot.

The rarest and most sought after piece of Synclavier hardware is the HOP hand-operated processor. Originally designed for internal company use debugging new software and designing new interface cards, it later proved to be indispensable for anyone trying to maintain Synclaviers and troubleshoot Synclavier problems. Any Synclavier technician must have one of these at all times. TRY2FIND1.

Rare Synclavier HOP Hand Operated Processor W/Interface Card +User Manual

via this auction

"Note: I've checked this over 12/3/2015 and tested it with a Synclavier II mini-system, all the switches are working properly and everything has tested good. It has only the slightest scuff on one corner of the case, too small to even see in a photograph. It is absolutely as new.

This is the rarest and most sought after piece of Synclavier hardware, the HOP hand-operated processor. Originally designed for internal company use debugging new software and designing new interface cards, it later proved to be indispensable for anyone trying to maintain Synclaviers and troubleshoot Synclavier problems. Any Synclavier technician must have one of these at all times. TRY2FIND1.

Perfect condition, tested today and working perfectly, no broken switches.

Includes the control box with built-in cable, and the special interface card that plugs into the computer bin of the Synclavier.

Using this hardware is always the first step to take in trying to start a dead Synclavier system that has been sitting unused for many years, and even more so for a Synclavier II to that does not have a Macintosh or terminal display. The light activity on the LED panel always assists me greatly in knowing what the floppy drive is doing, what the Winchester drive is doing, and what brain activity there is going on inside the system, if any at all. That usually leads me to give attention to some physical piece of hardware, such as physical connections, looking for broken wires, loose or corroded connectors, or power supply issues. Beyond that, it gives me the crash codes so I know what card might be causing the problem and should be swapped as the next step and getting the system going again. If someone comes to hire me to fix a dead system from far away, if they have one of these units, it can provide me with a lot more information remotely, possibly preventing the need to ship the system to Los Angeles for a hands-on repair.

One of the photos shows the unit and the built-in cable and the interface card and user manual, and the other photo shows the way the unit is actually used, with the interface card inserted in an empty slot in the computer bin of an upgraded Synclavier II.

Also included is the photocopied company user manual that lists the device codes to tell you what piece of hardware the malfunctioning system is crashing to. The manual is even more rare than the hardware!

The bad news? The Synclav.com Synclavier shown in the photo is not included, it is for display purposes only!"
